Bencomo was born May 1 August 1959 in San Francisco de Macaira, Altagracia de Orituco Guarico State Venezuela parents, Max and Maria Ramirez Bencomo Bencomo. In 1982 he met Luis Lozada "El Cubiro" who helps to integrate the Discomoda label. In the same year Simon Diaz as he named Rogelio Ortiz. In 1983 he released his debut album For Pretty Woman. Among those who helped him early in his career are: Omar Tovar, The Black Leal, Erasmo Perez, Pablo Arocha, Trino Bandres, Quentin Morales, Ramón Bencomo, Bencomo Gladys Simon Diaz, and others who made the discovery of this remarkable artist.
